OUR HISTORY
Masjid Al-Mumineen was established as a community masjid in 2001. The masjid is located in the inner-city, within the indigeonus American community. The complexity of the neighborhoods problems necessitates Masjid Al-Mumineen directs and shares its mission to assist the underserved what are inundated with disproportionately high levels of unemployment, poverty, lack of afforable housing, and crime.
Aside from offering a place for worship, Masjid Al-Mumineen offers a variety of social services in the form of referrals, emergency food allotment, clothing, and the distribution of saddaqa and zakat.
Today, muslims from all communities, ethinic and racial backgrounds call Masjid Al-Mumineen home.
